All competitors are required to purchase a weekend pass.

•UCWDC Couples/Line/Teams: August 18

HEAT SHEETS

We will being posting heat sheets when we are onsite with our scoring team. Posting prematurely creates confusion if there are any changes. We don’t need confusion.

Line dancers: We will use the line dances that are current as of 8/1/2026. Dancers will not be allowed to compete using outdated dances. Want to make sure you’re current? The usage dates and choreography are available here.

Prizes

All competitors in all divisions receive a distinctive award and personalized certificate with event results. Score reports are available through Country Dance Director at no additional charge.

Masters & Superstars Prize Money

First place in Showcase Masters and Classic Masters (traditional and mixed-role) receive $600 (US) regardless of the number of competitors. Cash prizes are awarded or the top five overall placements. First place in Showcase and Classic Masters Plus (traditional and mixed-role) receive $400 (US) regardless of the number of competitors. Cash prizes are awarded for the top five overall placements.

Don Macdonald Top Teacher Award

Our Top Teacher Award honors Don Macdonald, beloved Chicago dance instructor, pioneer of country pro-am competition and extraordinary human being. His imprint on the Chicago dance community is indelible and he will be remembered each year with the presentation of the Don Macdonald Top Teacher Award. In 2026, we awarded $5500 to the top ten teaching professionals.
