AUGUST 21 – 23, 2026
We love our dance family!
There’s no better place to dance in late summer than the Chicagoland Country and Swing Dance Festival, your annual dance family reunion.
Social dancer, spectator or competitor…you’ll find plenty to do in a friendly and welcoming dance community.
Chicagoland Dance Festival is a fully-sanctioned United Country Western Dance Council® event. Your participation counts as a qualifier for the World Championships of Country Dance®. We are also a points event for the World Swing Dance Council Jack & Jill Swing Dance registry.
Social dancing starts Thursday night with a FREE welcome dance hosted by Chicago’s own ER Unit and Strut Dance. Country pro-am competition starts Friday morning. WSDC Jack and Jill swing prelims are Friday night, finals on Saturday night. Line dance and teams are featured late Saturday afternoon. Amateur country couples dance on Sunday morning. Swing pro-am routines, pro-am and hustle pro-am and the Country Two Step Tour Jack and Jill contests close out the event.
Open dancing begins at 8P on BOTH Friday and Saturday nights. When it ends is up to you!
Browse the site for information and make plans to join us for a weekend of flat-out fun. Love your dance family ~
